How do I share my Sims, Lots and Rooms in the Gallery?
The Gallery is your opportunity to share your creativity with other players of The Sims 4. Once you've made your Sim or Lot, save them to add them to My Library. Now you can open the Gallery and navigate to the “My Library” tab to see the content you’ve created. Select whatever you want to share and then click on the Cloud icon in the bottom left corner to upload your content to the Gallery.
How do I download content from the Gallery?
You can download Sims, houses, and anything else uploaded to the Gallery right into your game.
Sims can be brought in from the Gallery either Create A Sim (CAS) or Live Mode. In CAS, the Gallery button is in the upper right, next to the Save Household button (it can also be opened by hitting F4). Find user-created households under the Community tab. Clicking the Save icon will bring a household into your Library in the Gallery, and hitting the Wrench icon will bring that household into CAS so you can edit them.
While in Live Mode, you can go to the Gallery to find a Sim and merge them with your household instantly.
To get a home or room from the Gallery, open Build Mode, go into the Gallery and select a lot to download. Click the link in the bottom right to pull the lot into build mode.
Why are things missing from this sim/house I downloaded from the Gallery?
Sims and Lots uploaded to the Gallery may contain custom or exclusive content. This content will be missing from downloaded stuff if you don't have it installed to your computer. If you have the content installed but it's still missing, you may need to restart your game in order for it to take effect.

Download a house you want to use in your game to a folder you will remember or to your desktop.

If the house file is in a .zip or .rar format, unzip it in an unzipping program such as WinZip or right-click the file and select Extract All.

Extract the house to maxisthe simsuserdatahouses.

If you have an expansion pack, choose the neighborhood's user data folder in which you want to play the game. For example, Neighborhood 3 would be stored in the simsuserdata3houses.

If the house is not zipped, copy and paste the file into the neighborhood house folder in which you want to play the house.

Next time you open the neighborhood, the house you downloaded will appear.
Tips
- Create a folder in which to keep all your Sims-related downloads. If you have a lot of files, keep them organized—by site or room, for example.
- The house file replaces the house already on the lot. If you want to keep the previous house, make sure to back up before installing the new house.
- Always back up your user data folders before installing new houses, families, and objects into your game.
